I think deep down it was what she wanted, she just didn't realize it. It's too soon for them to be married, but she would've accepted marriage because that was seen as the natural next step back then. If he had proposed, Peggy would've ended up making the same mistake as Joan, Megan, and every other woman on this show

I think she's realizing she wants more out of life. She knows that there's more important things out there than landing the beans account and maybe she finds it ridiculous that everyone is treating her like a goddess for it.

disagree. Sally growing up+Leland Palmer=win

There was a lot about mistakes in this episode. Megan realizing maybe she made a mistake getting married so soon. Don realizing the anti-smoking letter wasn't the blessing they all thought it was. Megan's mom's whole thing on making mistakes and accepting them. It was great. How does this show just keep getting better

The moment when her sex friend jiggled her belly and said "I think your stomach's funny", her reaction was perfect. Sealed the deal for me. If the show can keep finding moments like that, I'm in.

@avclub-1898a4d76532f237d9b5c0592dfe71a9:disqus said "I Just Want My Pants Back" was a great alternative to this show. I just binged through the first season and I have to agree. It's up there with "Awkward." in MTV's improved programming. Of course, "Girls" could always change in the upcoming episodes, but "IJWMPB"

It was the same janitor role he's had on the show.

Kristen Schaal was super amazing last night. Does she have improv experience or something?

So good. Everything last night was just perfect. GOLDEN AGE OF TELEVISION.

I loved it. I paused it for 15 minutes just laughing at the Jon Hamm in blackface sketch. Will Forte singing Zou Bisou Bisou? Perfect! Everyone was also on game with the acting. Some people came off as stiff in the last live show, but everyone worked really well here.

That weird Darryl/Nellie plotline kind of ruined the whole episode for me.

I told you all when we were arguing about Girls and race, Parks and Rec would heal everything.

SO GOOD. I knew there had to be a twist on the father's death and that was built-up really well. I think we all feared the "he's really alive" thing, and they took it in a more interesting direction.

@avclub-ad1fca5e0453ca6e1e6bbd9ebe303ae6:disqus True, that is the official statement Kermit should have used, but I was just talking about the German word for advertisement. I love German far too much to mock it, with it's nonsensical grammar rules and insane word order. Die schönste Sprache der Welt!

The second ep was better than the pilot. I think it'll be a great show, but it has only been two episodes, so who knows.

Hey, black people wanted to name their daughters after Ashley Abbott from the Young and the Restless too!

I haven't heard anyone use the word "ad" since I've been here. Das ist eine Reklame. oder Kermit hat "Diese ist eine Reklame!" sagen sollen.

German really can be beautiful. Lisa Bassenge-In Dieser Stadt, listen to it and cry.

JETZT KÖNNEN WIR ALLE DEUTSCH SPRECHEN? JETZT IST DIE ZEIT FÜR DIE ÜBERNAHME.

I was born in 1990 and mourned for awhile. But then again, sometimes I think I'm young and then I remember I'm 21 and the kids on the show are supposed to be 18. I haven't accepted that that's a difference yet.
