"How can a woman rape a man?" (Maher asked)
Shh…no one tell him about criminal codes.

Fuckin' shit, man.
This is plausible, and I'm very predisposed to hate Maher, but please cite your sources.
Because two other people are typing.
WHAT? I'M NOT BEING SARCASTIC! THIS IS JUST THE WAY I TALK! It's made things very difficult for me!
No way. That sounds like a bunch of smug bullshit, and I simply wouldn't expect that sort of behavior from someone like Bill Maher.
It was a simpler time. People seemed to laugh more. There were concerts in the park…
Lt. L.T. Smash was too busy with the Party Posse.
Me. But I haven't checked twitter in a few minutes.
Should have had my conservative troll bingo card out. Got hugbox, "this is why Trump won," low comment count, blocked profile…
I watched one of his HBO specials about a decade ago, and after about 5 jokes he completely stole almost verbatim from David Cross, I just turned it off.
Certainly we also don't have the history that you have w/r/t hate speech and its ramifications for international politics. It's understandable from an outsider's perspective.
Well, first off, don't take any of this as a dig against your country, which I've visited and love. The problem I would have is that your lower-level politicians are likely much more level-headed than ours are. Having near-absolute freedom of speech enshrined in our constitution takes that right away from the…
No, I'm sorry. You don't have free speech in Austria, in that Holocaust denial, neo-Nazism, etc. are officially unprotected speech under your laws.
I'm not saying that's necessarily a bad thing, but it's not the approach in the States. Here, we tolerate that kind of shit because we don't let the government draw the…
Nah, many of us have hated him for years, if not decades. He's a smug, double-talking jackass narcissist who embodies the worst of our side of the rift. He's what the right imagines most of us are.
They're both, as characters, somewhat derivative of the "Zach's weird, effeminate brother" he's been doing for many years. Though there are some obvious big differences.
Obviously I know he's a man who I've been aware of for decades, but when he's in that role, it never clicks in my brain that he's a man playing a woman. He embodies that role so naturally. It's a phenomenal performance.
Yeah, it's not a great film, but he does some serious acting in that one.
Well, I don't yet. I've been given some suggestions as to where to start from friends, but yeah, I came to Griffin and Justin through the Monster Factory stuff. I've been minimally exposed to them from the Flop House, as well.
I thought it was fun. I'm a big fan of the Polygon videos, but I've yet to jump into any of the McElroys' actual podcasts.
