I appreciate this feature. It's like kinja deals, but without those annoying savings on products that a reasonable person might want or use.

I'm one of those clichéd Underworld readers who thought the prologue/baseball game section was one of the greatest pieces of writing I've ever read, but I gave up about 150 pages later.
Currently about halfway through Infinite Jest, and whatever you want to say about DFW, he does seem to actually care about his

so…reddit

Likewise Wasteland 2 - it's a 2015 title (actually 2014 on the original?), but I played it this year, and I had a lot of fun with it.

Me too. I just bought it bored one night without knowing much about it and played through it without stopping. Loved it.

Interesting. Do they have any time for us corn-shucking crackers?

It's all "Turkey in the Straw" in my neighborhood. We also get them in November and February sometimes, which makes me think they're some kind of Cheech and Chong drug front.

I was watching it, and there was one particular guy who was either braying like a fool or trying to start a chant the entire time she was speaking. I had a great deal of respect for her for not Axl Rosing into the audience at him.

This is a reference to a song…oh, forget it you dumb baby.

I can't find the ad on youtube, but the most memorable one for me was a woman calling about whether her husband/SO was cheating on her, and Miss Cleo guessed that she was actually cheating on him. "You call me wanna be checkin pon him and he needa be checkin pon YOU!"

I'm already there. You will never be one of us.

I don't mind the current vinyl hipster fad and market bloat, as most of these folks will sell their collections for pennies in a few years. But for Christ's sake, a Crosley is one step above digging a gramophone needle across the things.

I don't know who that is, so probably the former.

Yeah, he's great. I'm a fan of him and the Steve Moore from the sunn o))) camp of people, and I'm always confusing them on twitter.

I'm a big, hulking straight-boy meathead, and this show has become appointment viewing for me. It's really funny.

Those are all so good, particularly insen.

Stars of the Lid are fantastic.

Mr. Bungle's William Winant? Cool.
I listen to a lot of ambient, so I'm rarely at a loss for dozing-off music. I still keep coming back to Aphex Twin's SAW 2, Music for Airports, and Robert Rich's Somnium though. Those induce sleep almost instantly for me at this point.

Whoops, he got out. Currently walking along the freeway towards Nebraska.

Cocksucker got grandfathered in. It would have made the Deadwood reviews impossible.
