I do love DePalma in DePalma mode, so thanks for that. I'll give it a chance. I even loved The Black Dahlia until it became endlessly muddled in the third act. But trim, say, 20ish minutes from the ending and it might be my favorite DePalma movie of the past 20 years.
Why couldn't you just tell me it was awesome— and make it awesome, too.
