She's definitely not perfect, but I'd say she's a 'better' person than many others in this show. She's vaguely selfish and can be annoying regularly, but her life is abnormally terrible.
If you compare her to Walt, Jane, or even Jesse, I'd say she's a pretty sympathetic character. She's made some less than perfect…

Also, Eliza Dushku looked like a normal, beautiful actress and not one with a tape worm. Seeing all the bones in her back on Dollhouse and then seeing her as faith when re-watching Buffy just makes me sad.
