So much potential wasted. I was hoping for a gen-x David Lynch, but instead we got an overconfident director with no coherent vision and a lot of gimmicks—menacing rabbits, jet engines, the apocalypse, and hip politics. Don't get me wrong, I love art films, but I think Kelly's reach really exceeded his grasp here.
