I saw an interview with Rob Lowe recently who said that back in the 80s, MTV was basically his smorgasbord of potential conquests - if he saw one (or two, or three…) he liked, he'd ring his agent and get them to track her down and organise a date.

Favourite Noel interview moment: From some UK chat show where another guest said that at his wedding he got up and sung Wonderwall to his new wife because "it was our song". Noel interrupted with "No mate, I think you'll find that's my song." Gold.

Another great interview moment with Noel was when he was on a chat show and another guest was yapping about how at his wedding he sang Wonderwall to his new bride as it is "Our song".
"No mate", said Noel. "I think you'll find that's MY song".
