I prefer "dessicated" for Billy.

Basinger? THE Kim Basinger?
Maybe I've been living in a celebrity-free box for a while, but I can't for the life of me think of anything she's done recently. Has she been on some kind of hiatus since marrying Baldwin? I'm pretty sure that's the last I heard of her until now.

@ Fritzy:

Jeez, I can't think of a whole lot of movies that I didn't at least get misty over if not outright bawling. I know, I know - gotta turn in my "guy card." What can I say? I'm comfortable with feelings…

You want a toe? I can get you a f**kin' toe, believe me. There are ways, Dude - you don't wanna know about it…believe me.

ATB, I'm glad you were able to find someone you could have a lively discussion with about this film. My (then-fiancee) and I came across this little gem on pay-per-view back when we had the time to watch Oscar-nominated movies before the awards show. (having a kid tends to shift one's priorities a bit…) We

Domino,

What a bitter disappointment!
I think the last time I was left feeling this way was when I found out there would be no tour in support of my favorite album, "David Hasselhoff Sings The Hits Of John Tesh."

3rd floor, Women's Department…
My wife turned to me in utter confusion when Paula mumbled her "men shopping in the women's department" comment.

@Claire:

I concur! There was a decided dearth of wah-pedal guitar accents, rendering disco night a complete disaster. With out the scratch of a guitar scratching, how else are we supposed to know which rhythm carries all the action?

I'm with UR on this one, unless inwardly seething with unbridled rage counts as saying something.

Which definition of "Fergalicious" are you using here, the positive pre- self-soiling one, or the negative post- self-soiling one?

Same film, different name for different release to different country.

@ CEJ:

Speaking of lack of dialogue, I'm really looking forward to the upcoming review and discussion of "Triplets of Belleville." It promises to be a swingin' rendezvous.

Do you see what happens, Larry, when you F**K A STRANGER IN THE A$$?!?!

Kudos! Yeah, pretty much anything Miyazaki actually does, or is simply associated with is animation gold. Kiki's, Totoro, Nausicaa…it's all good.
