That's a personal perspective clouding the field. It'll come and go throughout your life, but will probably fail to eclipse the apex set in your teens/twenties when things were 'exciting.'

I know! What exactly would the kickstarter fund beyond a Nikon and a Zoom recorder?
I concur. No amount of ill will or bad press can take away how great Bucky Done Gun sounded a few years back..
Liked for 9th chord worship!
@avclub-550af0e27594253768ef93c3f2421f7b:disqus really nails it to some degree..as someone who spent my early and mid-20s being hard to get ahold of, it really is an inconsiderate thing people do without realizing how hurtful it can be.
I think its up to you to dictate the details of your contract, but you should…
How was Savages? I'm obviously intrigued by the writer, but I keep imagining something like The Groove Tube meets Sophie's Choice..
There're few things as maddening as seeing an old documentary and realizing that it could be made today.
That's not boring- that's great. I like to hope my laziness is contagious to a similar degree.
Play them out before you go to bed! I try to spend 15-20 minutes playing and exhausting them before I go to bed in hopes that they'll knock out while I do.

I'm so bored with the USA, But What Can I DO?!?
Rock Monthly VHS- that's great!
I remember On a Rope getting some mild mtv play once upon a time..
LOUDEST BAND EVER!
I know that get attributed to a thousand groups, but I'll vouch for RFTC as being the LOUDEST BAND I've ever seen. I remember seeing them on the first or second warped tour in LA and hearing them clear across the other side of the Olympic Velodrome!
I've always been a bigger fan of Drive Like Jehu and…
Here come the Rome Plows!!!!!
I can vouch- Group Sounds is a pretty great record. I'd definitely put it up there with there early stuff.
The new Man or Astroman singles have been great- I have Volumes 1 and 2. I think their album is out/coming out soon.
I had to drive out to El Segundo to buy an old cassette recorder last summer and I played that song on repeat! The tascam owner didn't seem to think the opportunity very exceptional..
