I really really liked Red Desert- that was probably my favorite from last sale's haul. Solaris is a stone cold classic if you haven't seen it. Repulsion would fit nicely in your collection. Maybe some Godard or some more Bergman?

I'll second the Solo con tu Pareja rec- caught it a few weeks ago and it was a breezy screwballesque little romp. Fresh, fun, easy to get caught up in. Totally unexpected.

@GuyIncognitoII:disqus  is right. You can tell by the old school glass bottle. You've never had a true cuba libre if you've only had it with fake-sugar coke- turned me around on them completely!

What the Hell is Going on Here?!?

I've been eyeing that Steve Martin dvd since first hearing about it! The Amazon led me to the Mel Brooks, but I'm unbeknownst toward the Kovak.
The idea that all the folks did great work that's all but lost is distressing, so it's great to see television given the similar archiving/compiling music is so often afforded.

My absolute favorite Fugazi song! It would make for a surreal, shutter speed run, the way that groove settles in.

I still haven't seen 2 or 3 things or Weekend, but every other Godard I've seen is fantastic in its own way. Breathless runs fast but is still not as Godardy as what's to come (that could be a good thing for some.) Alphaville is fantastic, but the sci-fi can throw you off the trail if you're not careful! I'd say try…
