Violent Cop is the prototype for Kitano's yakuza films, but I think the ending is still his best. Nothing beats the starkness of the final shots between Kitano and his sister.

It's been over a month since the Best Show sound collage began and it continues to get better, longer, and weirder. The douchey Stephen Dorff commercial, clips from"The Master" and "What About Bob", AP Mike's impression, "Big booties yaw, that's what life is about!", and the strange call to WNBC were my favorite new

Nick Swardson is in the Grandma's Boy clip, but Seth Green is in the clip about a distribution deal.

I hope that Tom brings back the clip from Dice's podcast that he used two weeks ago again, but the Seth Green and Kelsey Grammer clips made up for the loss. The mash-ups have been excellent and they keep getting weirder and better.

I'm happy that, despite the 80's influence on Comedown Machine, the band did not play the stereotypical Asian riff on "Welcome to Japan". It's an overall good album.

No thrasher was as crazy and awesome as Paul Baloff. The guy sounded like he shredded his vocals in every track on Bonded by Blood with some unnatural conviction. He made it all sound like it was serious business.

I wish he could get an interview with Gene Wilder, but I don't think Gene does many interviews.

I like Mohr Stories and I sometimes wonder what the reviewer considered a "best" episode, but to each his own.

Yeah, All The Time sounds like an updated FIOE track compared to the wacky experimentation of One Way Trigger.

Danzig
Danzig 4 - "Brand New God"/"Little Whip"

I'd have ROF as 7/10, FIOE 5/10, and Angles 6/10. FIOE is just lazy compared to the other albums.

It was a good episode, but nothing beat Tom blacking out on Four Loko.

He should have been banned a while back after being Bad Company'd a few times.

The show felt laid back after the guests in first hour, but Tom still had enough good calls and a few fun stories for a good episode. (The brief story of Tom's interaction with George Lowe "the creep from Space Ghost" during the All About the Benjamins discussion, and Tom saying that he recently found and threw out

You forgot the Onnit Battle Ropes and Kettlebells.  Put in the codeword ROGAN and save ten percent off your order of Alpha Brain and Hemp Protein Powder.

If the Wiccans can increase the sound of their bass, we could get the classic era Hawkwind sound. Verbal Assault's Our Illusions has some bass playing that reminded me of Lemmy on Lord of Light.
