What was your band?
I agree with Special Patrol Group. For years I considered Pinkerton among my favourite albums of all time, but ever since the Green Album was released it loses more and more of its lustre with each listen.
Sing The Sorrow remains probably my top guilty pleasure album of all time. I listened to Black Sails and Art of Drowning back in my earlier 'punk' days, but had long lost interest by the time Sing The Sorrow came out. But I somehow heard a couple songs off the album and loved it; AFI was much more interesting as a…
I think I'm one of very few people who didn't like season 5. It was the season that made me decide to stop watching The Office (though this ball started to roll in season 4).
Clark Duke
I like this guy a lot. He often outshone Michael Cera in Clark and Michael.
Touche.
Thank you.
I really don't think Seth makes much of an effort to cultivate any sort of particular image. It's quite clear from his work that he's someone who genuinely loves the aesthetics of the past, and it thus infiltrates his interests and how he chooses to look. If someone likes how vintage suits look, it seems pretty…
My order seems to be the complete inverse of most people I've talked to - I place Bruno at the top, followed by Ali G, and Borat last. I remember being slightly disappointed years ago when I first read about him filming a Borat movie because that character was always the least amusing to me. I think what made Bruno…
Good film
Before I saw the film I expected it to be densely packed with philosophy and sprinkled with humour, so I was rather surprised (pleasantly so, I think) when I first watched it and found the inverse to be true.
He's an asshole
Does anyone else think that Gallo looks a lot like Dennis Leary in that picture?
Adrien Brody
I seriously don't think I'll ever get tired of Adrien Brody's sad look (i.e., Adrien Brody's face).
Pleasantly surprised
I'll admit right now that I really enjoy seasons 1-4 of Scrubs. I think they're genuinely hilarious, and I've never really understood all of the Scrubs/Zach Braff hate here.
Sunglasses
I posted this as a reply earlier, but I figured I'd bring it up again:
Maybe I'm just crazy, but did anyone else think that the cheese puffs cold open was a small reference to that popular YouTube catching sunglasses video?
I own some American Apparel clothing. I guess the main appeal for me is their (generally) progressive labour standards - it's nice to be able to buy clothing where you know the workers were paid a living wage with decent benefits.
Hypocrisy
Given Dov Charney's (American Apparel CEO) own issues with sexual harassment and so forth, this seems like a pretty hypocritical (not to mention idiotic) stance for AA to be taking.
The dialogue…
I'm continually impressed by how little this game feels scaled back, despite it being on the DS. I don't know how they did it, but it's insanely fun.
Andy Richter Controls The Universe quotes - GO!
"At least she died doing what she loved most - committing suicide."
Yeah, I did mean to say "inconsistent." That was the least ideal word in my comment to have messed up.
