Seems to be missing something.
And not just Tyondai Braxton. At times it just seems like they came up with a bunch of cool noises and just threw them together, hoping something would stick. It just doesn't have any of the energy or the feeling of the first one. There's some cool noises on here, there's even some cool

Arrested Development does benefit from its complex continuity and its references to past and future events, so naturally the early episodes aren't as great as once they really start going, but one in the first episode that I only noticed this year (and I was watching from the start and rewatch the series at least once

Yeah, probably the most interesting the Big Bang Theory's been, well, ever. I was just not going to tune in next season, but now I kind of want to see how they'll screw this up.

Ed Helms
The fact that SNL could barely get a mediocre episode out of Ed Helms says a lot about SNL. Ed Helms, theoretically, is the perfect SNL host. He's a funny man with talents in a number of areas that could be exploited, but the writers don't feel like writing to the strengths of their hosts (even one who has

Nah, Pierce can't be the father, Jeff knew his father (he was an abusive drunk who left him at the zoo) and Pierce is sterile (or super virile, his sperm goes through the egg like a shotgun blast).

There's one bit where Marshall's mother was asking if he was "coming" (and his father was yelling "Cox") while Marshall was trying to knock one out for his fertility test which left me wondering how they got away with that.

Why is it that all great Germans are actually Austrians?

"The Germans are not so rational that they don't find things funny, they've just devised a language system so rational that funny things cease to be funny".

When I first heard Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, I was most certainly in the The Love Below camp, but now if I'm going to listen to anything from this album that's not Hey Ya or Roses, it'll be Speakerboxxx.

"remember before they sucked" the catchphrase of every former KoL fan who can't admit they got that one wrong.

Cool
I like the uniqueness of the year, even though 2003 wouldn't even come close to my list of favourite years, it has its share of strong albums (Feedbacker, Ghosts Of The Great Highway, You Are Free, Disintegration Loops, Guitar Romantic, Black Album, Lesser Matters, Supper, Cell-Scape, Down The River Of Golden

Yeah, this had a strong "filler" vibe. I found it to be quite funny, but ultimately light weight. Not that I don't enjoy HIMYM's stand alone episodes (The Naked Man is probably my favourite episode of all time), but they need to commit to the idea. The Zoey storyline and Barney and Marshall bringing up their dad's

I quite enjoyed the "meta" nature of this review.
One of the more enjoyable reviews I've read lately.

If the Black Eyed Peas are a business, then earlier Black Eyed Peas was like a young, strong business. They made a product their consumer wanted and it sold like hotcakes. Hell, they even made the occasional great hit (Let's Get Retarded). Now they're like a big, bloated, transnational. They've got as many consumers

She looks like a two-faced Deborah Harry.

I think the love triangle had more of an influence on the album than you're giving it credit, since Pattie Boyd's sister broke up with Clapton after hearing the album and realising she was just a substitute for Pattie.

Farm is my favourite of theirs too, and I'm the ultimate hipster.

The Pie conundrum is something I can deal with, but the girl in the same outfit drives me crazy. I think it's because seeing that picture indicates that there's a legitimate mystery there and not just Jerry being obsessively nitpicky. And we were so close to finding out before Jerry screwed it up.

The proposal.
The absolute sincerity of the whole proposal scene is what sells this episode for me. I kept expecting the big Michael Scott screw-up, which probably could have been hilarious, but it wouldn't have been anywhere near as special as this. Even his "screw-up" wasn't really a "screw-up" as it helped tie in

Tracy Jordan in Africa
I'm pretty sure in the first episode where he decide to "go to Africa" he was shown to be in front of a set.
