Oh boy, this'll allow Chuck Klosterman an excuse to republish his essay about how he thinks SBTB is one of the most underrated TV shows of all time, and how most people don't get the subversive message in it. Or some bullshit like that.
She may be at least half-batshit, but she always knows how to put things in the best, most beautiful way possible.
Punch, Punch, and Punch Harder
Beautifully subtle burn in there, Kevin.

I would definitely say that "Crazy" is the worst of the three, mostly because of the shrieking Steven Tyler does at the end. Unless that was "Amazing." Shit, I can't remember. But really, trying to decide which of these songs was the worst is like trying to decide which infectious disease is worse.
And then she gives him a pixellated middle finger! Classic!
And yet no one thought it was weird when Liv Tyler appeared in another videos gyrating around a stripper pole.
Ugh.
Was coming here to say the exact same thing. Top notch episode.
That's a great idea. It would be Happy Days for me. Lousy acting, and the most absurdly intrusive studio audience of any sitcom ever. By the last couple of seasons, the actors had to take weird pauses before speaking any time they entered a scene to wait for the audience to stop whooping and shrieking.
Yeah, and then they started doing The Best Week Ever, which could basically be described as I Love 3 Days Ago.
Wow, I was expecting a way more fawning review, which leads me to believe this is actually worse than it sounds.
The thing that bugs me about 80s nostalgia is that, particularly in movies, it's never done correctly. Most people weren't actually rocking Flock of Seagulls haircuts or listening to new wave. No one ever mentions how the most popular songs were shit like "We Built This City." There's cherry picking of the stuff that…
My "golden era" of Nickelodeon was You Can't Do This on Television and Turkey TV, so this book isn't really for me. In regards to the problem with oral histories, I'll throw in my .02 and say that the oral history of MTV that came out last year suffered from the same nostalgia haze issues (though I did enjoy the…
I really liked Carol as a character, and I'm sorry to see her go, but I really hope she doesn't come back. My immediate thought was "Oh shit, she's probably going to end up joining up with the Governor's group" and that would just have to be the end of it for me. I'm already not looking forward to the Gov reappearing,…
Please accept a hug and warm thoughts from a non-creepy internet stranger.
My condolences.
I like Louie. I like Girls. The world does not need a surplus of Louie and Girls clones.
