Wild World of Sporks

Daddy's Boy is worth reading just for the photo section. I also enjoyed the chapter about a father-son vacation that after a few pages basically turns into the plot for The Poseidon Adventure.

Just so we're all clear, William Daniels is nearly 86 years old.

**ends life**

OK. That's enough now.

Obviously it's intended to be a parody of the scene in Rambo, but there's a great scene in I'm Gonna Git You Sucka where Keenan Ivory Wayans has to remove his own splinter, and wraps a tiny tourniquet around his finger.

Master Sporks looks a bit like him, though with about half the nose size.

Any guesses on what the fuck is going on with Adrien Brody and his recent career choices? Gambling debts? Nasty drug habit?

It sounds like a less romanticized version of Patti Smith's book, is that accurate?

He put out a collection of short stories a few years ago that was pretty good. At least both he and Joe Hill have a fair enough amount of talent to rise above the "riding Dad's coattails" thing.

Like Willem Dafoe, no matter how shitty the movie he's in is, he's usually pretty great in it.

Yes. His name was Ben, though I didn't know that until Talking Dead's "In Memoriam" segment.

Fans would riot in the streets.

Yeah, there was something almost child-like about his pushing Merle away, and it made it even more affecting.

Yeah, the episode was just baffling at times (why the hell would Michonne just go along with Merle to a deserted section of the prison, let alone walk unaware ahead of him?), but that was a hell of an ending. Brought me to tears, and not just because the sight of a man crying always breaks my heart a little.

Yeah, this is going to be a thing now, isn't it?

Now there's irony for you.

Fuck off, asshole.

You wrote "palatable" in your original comment, which means "easily consumed." @avclub-96f15daceb6669363fbf7f762ed57703:disqus pointed out that the word you meant was "palpable," to which you commented with a definition of "palpable." You used the wrong word, and then argued it by providing @Texass:disqus  a

Do you realize you just proved @avclub-96f15daceb6669363fbf7f762ed57703:disqus to be correct? Aren't you getting tired of this yet?

He is often the best thing about very bad movies.
