BORAT!

The pig says, "My wife is a slut."

Nice comparison.
Just in case…you're aware of the blog Pushing Ahead of the Dame? If not, you should be. Essays on every Bowie song, from his first obscure singles on up. The first half of the blog has been re-written and published as a book, Rebel Rebel, which goes up to Station to Station.
DB's death knocked the

Nice to find another Reality fan…it seems to live in Heathen's shadow in a lot of peoples' minds.

I liked Hours a lot when it was first released. Still like a few of the tracks, but there's something airless about it. Maybe it's the production. It reminds me of a clean, cold laboratory.
Never Let Me Down had some okay germs of songs, but yeah…it's not his best. The funny thing is, he was slightly ahead of the

Good point. Diamond Dogs and Young Americans were both the hardest of his catalogue for me to really get into (well…Never Let Me Down and Tonight still haven't grabbed me by the lapels and shaken me yet…I guess I'm talking his "classic" albums).4

The outro! Iommi doing his crazy trill-happy solos over that string part!!!

How a man can live without "Into the Void" is beyond me.

I completely understand his dilemma. I can't let go of my CDs, even the promo discs of obscure '90s R&B that I really have no taste for. One day I will perish when an enormous pile of audio and video media falls on my head.

Everyone who worked record retail in the '90s loves Butt Trumpet. Seriously.

Does any AVClub staff member' writing induce seizures in people?

No fucking sense of history.

The Internet is no place to have a reasonable opinion.

Oh, come on. He was opining on music in general, and used Adele as an example. If you can't use examples to illustrate your opinion (no matter if you, personally, think the opinion is incorrect) without "insulting" people…jesus. He was trying to make a general point about how he feels about the state of music, and

Like I said, I only vaguely remember it. Didn't they have some kind of dingus thingie that flashed red if history was off?

Remember Time Bandits?

Remember the prequel ep they did in season 2? I don't think we need more of that, either. Loved the show since day 1, but yeah, don't sully a beautiful thing.

Goggins didn't get any recognition at the awards for his work in the final season. Mrs. HR and I agree that was a major injustice.
