There are millions of them. Lots are annoying kids, lots are idiotic adults, lots are really intelligent, lots are genuinely funny, lots are seasoned professionals with fascinating insights to share on a variety of topics. It's not like they're some universal bloc.
Season 2 was a very good stab at a classic LA Noire ala Chandler, Ellroy, etc. It was a little rushed and had some half-baked bits, but honestly…the show is meant to be an homage to classic pulp (that's where the series name comes from), and season 2 did that very well.
