The thing about Breaking Bad is that it's not a heavy lift. There are only 54 episodes in the first five seasons, so you could breeze through those in a few weeks (and you'll want to once you get started). 
I made the mistake of starting Buffy the Vampire Slayer last year, and with 144 episodes, plus the 110 or so…
