One of my favorite Doctor Who moments is when Kiv is on Crozier's operating table, and he goes into some sort of arrest, causing loud alarms to sound. Crozier calmly FINISHES HIS TEA before heading over to save Kiv's life.

Tom Baker. No question. The man was so much a part of my childhood, and I've remained a fan into adulthood.
I've started doing a complete marathon with a newbie. She's never seen a single episode of the show before. We're filming her reactions story by story. Similar to Wife in Space, except we're not married, so it's easier for her to quit. http://doingdoctorwho.wordp….
For some reason, I've always been partial to Mickey Rourke's "What fucking Chisolm Trail?" in Diner.
Marillion's "Estonia." http://www.youtube.com/watc…
I've always liked "Airline Amy."
Make it talk, son. Now make it shut up.
We had two beautiful children, Nathaniel and Superfly.
"Genius in France." Reportedly even Dweezil Zappa agreed that Al nailed Frank's mid-'70s sound.
Nah. Just that he went by a press report instead of reading the book. Granted, I haven't read the book either, but Sandifer has, and his response is in line with the honest critical assessment I've come to expect from him.
Doctor Who blogger Phil Sandifer says the book doesn't read the way it's being portrayed. http://www.philipsandifer.c…
"…Sony Pictures and Quentin Tarantino had been willingly cooperating with
censors who demanded only that the blood be darker and shorter, which
certainly seems like a natural segue to discussing Jamie Foxx’s penis." Never leave us, O'Neal. Never.
It's sort of a reference to the Seventh Doctor story Silver Nemesis, which was the 25th anniversary story. http://www.youtube.com/watc…. So it makes sense to bring it back for a second in the 50th anniversary year.
Jekyll?
The Silence think the Doctor is dead. They're not looking for him, so I don't imagine we'll see them for a while.
Jellyfish's 1993 album Spilt Milk. I wouldn't change a note of it.
XTC's Black Sea. Opens with the clarion call of "Respectable Street," and then slams into "Generals and Majors."
I was hoping someone would mention Repeater. The slower-burn "Turnover" into the title track is fantastic.
I initially read this as "Muse is finally going away forever," and was momentarily very happy.
I tend to think there's more to it - that Clara knew the significance of that word somehow. If this is a case of a character splintered through time, with one consciousness, it could make sense that she knows more about the Doctor than she let on, and knows that the word "Pond" will bring him running.
