Hmmm yeah this isn't going to work.

I guess it just comes down to the idea of whether or not you find something funny or not.  If you want to make Asian's are short or bad drivers jokes you should do it in a way that sneaks up on the audience rather than being telegraphed.  I thought the Hobbit-Korea Town joke was funny because Max Greenfield is pretty

I understand from a moral viewpoint, particularly the moral viewpoint of the individual why torture is abhorrent and I agree that is something we should strive as human beings not to do to each other if at all possible.  That said its use as a specific tool to prevent greater loss doesn't bother me on an intellectual

I'm at a crossroads because I like and tend to agree with the reviews here but I also quite liked this movie.  On the one hand yeah the movie is more or less what the review states and I agree a scene involving gang rape or the discussion of it was lacking in emotional heft but Ferlito's character is supposed to come

This is actually sounds like a great fucking show or at least the idea in general.  Rebel spies infiltrating Imperial intelligence, covert raids, senators sleeping around.  No ewoks, Jawa's, Jedi or extended space battles just a lot of confined spaces, looking over your shoulder type of stuff.  You can easily get in

Watch the trailer for a piece of grindhouse schlock called "Bitch Slap." I'll let you decide what to do from there.

Exactly the Weiner thing is absolutely news, plus the whole "Weiner it's Will you're getting bad advice call me" bit was just fucking terrible, oh how I hope real Anthony Weiner call's fake Will Macavoy!  This crossover fake-real stuff is actually going from annoying to insanely bad plotting.  Will they get the

Yeah I agree it's more or less about how revolutionary impulses have throughout history been co-opted by tryants and killers for their own ends.  The Tale of Two Cities bit was an excellent choice I think given the times we are living in, prescient but probably not inspired by anything in particular given how I assume

I'm pretty okay with making any movie or show more like the book in pretty much every case, so having read the book and not being patriotism averse like so many here it seems I think this could be cool, I will stress if done correctly though (not likely).  I just always had a hard time with the idea in Verhoeven's

I'm gonna go on record as saying this is in poor taste but as one of I'm guessing only a few conservative folks here I'm not gonna assume that means a whole hell of a alot, although a few of you have have said the same.  It's hard to believe it wasn't intentional but the best explanation I can come up with is they had

It's interesting though that it didn't occur to me at first that Doreah might have had a hand in it.  When it first happened I think like a lot of other people here we figured Doreah was off pumping Qarthians for info like Dany suggested she should do, so her conspicuous absence was noted with this week's episode.

I think we need to just keep trying to force Polanski out of countries until he finds himself in some medieval war zone in the Caucasus with his ass in the air, trying to persuade a group of men in balaclavas that sustained sexual violence is not the fucking way forward.
