"I'm thinking that maybe I should take the stairs.  Because talk about stank."  Creed definitely had far more moments like this in the early seasons, and I enjoyed seeing them sprinkled in amongst his other, nuttier talking heads and lines in the office.

That was probably my favorite episode of the series, Steve Guttenberg and Lydia's back and forth along with Kyle's horrible acting in the scene from Roman's screenplay were classic.

"That is a serious offense.  Very serious.  As is toying with a man's heart…"  Michael's exchange with Jan was pretty funny for me in this episode.  I particularly enjoyed his reaction of half standing up in anticipation of going to get some deer jerky with Jan as Dwight suggested after she said "Okay" but before she

I loved Phyllis' reaction "That's the character's name?"  That reading of Threat Level Midnight is one of my favorite bits of the entire series.  Ryan's delivery of "Word." reminded me of Adam Scott in Party Down when reading Roman's script "Is it?".  Both deadpan and hilarious.

Interesting, I just always took it as her putting the brakes on starting with that comment but I guess it could have been flirty on her part.  I guess I'll just have to re-watch one of the all time great episodes in television history, in my opinion.

@Thats_Unpossible:disqus I thought the exact same thing at first, and that would have been great.  I love Mary Lynn Rajskub, she is a hilarious weirdo.

Yeah, though I didn't like his character when he inexplicably vaulted from temp to Jan's job, Exec Ryan was for the most part very well done.  There were some good lines and confrontations between him and the rest of the Scranton branch that added a lot to the show.  However, I agree with someone who stated a few

"Michael started my performance review last year by asking me about my hopes and dreams, then ended it by telling me he could bench press 190 pounds."  I love the early talking heads of Pam describing her work relationship with Michael.

I remember thinking Jim must have felt gut-punched when Pam told him "swaying isn't dancing."  Season 2 had some great tension between the two as their friendship evolved and Jim struggled more and more with his feelings for Pam.

That one and Michael's "Have you met that kid?  He's not going to college" are two of my favorites.  Temp Ryan was so much more enjoyable and funny than later-day douche Ryan.

Michael: "I'm a little uncomfortable wearing the dress…"

"Noted"

Some of the best Dwight material in the series for me was when he met Jan and was a total creeper about knowing where her blouses and earrings came from.  He looks genuinely interested in what she picked up shopping, and Jan is rightly horrified.

Poor Debbie Brown.  It's just a shame when bad things happen to good people…

That, along with his response of "Who knows where words come from" after Andy says he "Schruted it", was epic.

Man I totally forgot about that being available, you made my day @avclub-41e23e24ee2670c4128cd7e5e5ee42ab:disqus

I can buy that, @avclub-9a190b2d3a7c7fae28cef4c7bf821b12:disqus and it certainly makes sense and is consistent with that version of Andy.  I did still get the overall impression from early Andy that he was at least a competent salesman though.

Definitely, when Michael is the one who is actually acting properly it is somehow just as funny as when he acts like an ass in my opinion.  I particularly love his "Ohhh-kay"s when someone else is acting particularly awful.

It was the beginning of Andy's strange journey, because when he transferred he introduced himself to Dwight as the Regional Director of Sales.  Granted, in Dunder Mifflin titles are essentially meaningless, but I at first took this and the prior depictions of Andy to show him as a competent worker.  Fast forward to
