I'm pretty sure they said she was away going to grad school after she turned up for the closing party after e720 went tits up.  I liked her character and thought her and Tom made a realistic and good couple.  It bothered me when they tried to pair Tom and Ann up, I never bought into that relationship.

I'm with you, Bob Odenkirk makes for me must-see television. 

Alex Trebek is the most pompous, condescending jag I've ever seen on television.  I detest him, and his snarky comments.  Suck it Trebek!

jerodast: Good call, I remember that now.  As far as I know, that is really the only time her work title or duties are ever mentioned.  Also, how do you make your name appear in the gray box when you are replying on here? 

I'm a big Oscar fan, but I do think Erin at the funeral might have had the potential for good comedy, and it would have made much more sense for Pam or Angela to have been asked to come. 

That is exactly what I was thinking of when I typed my comment.  That scene is a perfect summation of Jerry/Gary. 

It is little background touches such as this that make Parks and Rec my favorite show.  The murals at city hall of the various atrocities committed by the residents of Pawnee always crack me up.  The one of the hippies burning someone at the stake was my personal favorite.
