"Harris kept her creator credit for all 177 episodes" no show creator loses the created by credit, even after they leave.
This many comments and no mention that this was on the Blacklist a few years ago as Are We Officially Dating? and no mention of that in the review either but a couple of paragraphs about Garry Marshall? And I guess no one in Hollywood actually uses facebook because the wall has been long gone for quite a while, it's a…
Chuck Lorre had to roll with the punches when Two and a Half Men almost imploded (though the first Ashton Kutcher season was done mainly to keep a syndication order) and having never watched M&M before this season I have no idea what it was like before. The idea of Molly becoming a writer (which everyone can relate to…
Uh, Monday Mornings!
It seems to lean a lot on knowing that Robin Williams had a drug habit in real life, so every reference to drugs is a little inside. That said the guy from Mad Men, the guy from The Newsroom and the girl from season one of The Mindy Project (I know, doesn't narrow it down that show burns through regulars [goodbye in…
It did seem like the m&ms happened at Molina's whim, though I think that was just bad storytelling. They all happened on a Monday morning, they were just told through flashback which did throw me sometimes. So we saw the events of the preceding seven days but all the scenes in the m&m were on the Monday. A subtitle…
I also enjoyed MM.
Phrased exactly how I wanted it.
I guess nothing (but cash) explains why CT-S does Two and a Half Men.
Yes that is exactly what I meant, he joined it and the show felt fresh, then he relapsed and the show died.
He married Michelle Pfeiffer so he definitely has a type but I don't think Kelley can be blamed for the weight problems of Flockhart, LFB, de Rossi or Thorne-Smith.
Sorkin won an Oscar, that was the motivation HBO needed to talk to him. The West Wing also won 4 back-to-back-to-back-to-back Primetime Emmys for Best Drama (a feat only equalled by Hill Street Blues and Mad Men) while Sorkin was in charge (and no network drama will probably replicate that). Kelley has also had a lot…
Not only did Kelley write all drafts in 4 days but he also used to do them all long hand on a legal pad. At one point he was writing for The Practice, Ally McBeal and Boston Public every single week. From October 2000 to May 2002 he wrote 17 solo episodes of The Practice, 32 solo episodes of Ally McBeal and 19…
On the Nerdist Writers' Panel Chuck Lorre explained that the writers' room on The Big Bang Theory (and by extension Mike & Molly and Two and a Half Men) works by having the entire staff in one room writing the episode line by line (which is why both shows always credit 3 writers for story and 3 for teleplay, the max…
It's Stuart.
When downloading the episodes I just renumbered them into 2 13 episode seasons based on production codes. The advantage that 20th Television productions have is they put the codes at the end of the episodes, as any The Simpsons fan will know.
Thursday at 10pm has killed so many shows since ER finished but they have almost exclusively been new shows. If 10pm Thursday kills Parenthood then NBC lose an expensive low rated show, if it succeeds then they get some ad revenue back from what is currently a black hole.
As bland as everyone felt CF was and as much as Nashville had a ton of critics backing it CF got the back nine quicker and had that expanded by 2 episodes, Nashville got the back nine later then had it cut by one. It boggles the mind to think that NBC had Law and Order for 20 years but can barely put together a…
He sort of is, but then he rescues someone from a fire, so he can't be all bad.
