I'm preeeeeeeeeetty sure it was just a username. But he said he liked the new Ghostbusters film.
Come to think of it, that probably wasn't him.
This is wild—jack chick replied to one of my comments here two days ago.
The presence of aliens wasn't the problem. The problem, among many others, was the line, "Knowledge. Their treasure was knowledge."
And don't forget the trailer take: "Part TIME."
Yeah, but Nike didn't give me a pair. What are they………..chicken?
I respectfully disagree, but I'm not going to try to convince you otherwise. I'm glad you got more out of it than I did.
Word, I gotcha. I know they had to have, but it makes me wonder whether anyone ever screened it in a room full of people. I saw it on opening weekend, in a fairly full theatre, and it felt like there was no energy, no electricity between scenes.
It was jarring, right? I didn't see Suicide Squad, but damn, it just didn't appear professionally done.
I know it's been repeated ad nauseam here and elsewhere, but it really bums me out that this film had to be a referendum on feminism in popular culture. For that, I blame the folks angry at the casting more than anyone else, but it didn't help that Sony & Feig leaned into it so hard. (That said, there's nothing…
Jinx!
KNEEL BEFORE GAD
That's the one—"Did you see that ludicrous soufflé last night?" was my FB status update when I saw this news elsewhere.
Good to know! I assumed it had something to do with being an all-star series; the different elimination rules certainly had something to do with it as well.
This was the first season I'd ever watched of RPDR, and I'm a fan for good now. I knew none of the performers (or their histories) before, so I was astounded at the camaraderie and solidarity among the queens in an ostensible competition. I quickly became #TeamKatya, obviously, but Alaska's a genuine star.
Right, and for that reason, the violence in the premiere did not work one bit. (For me at least.) It weirdly diminishes when the gloves are off in Treehouse episodes.
She wasn't bad in that sketch!
She's done English accents before—I think I recall one from The Rock's episode—so I suspect she feels she's got a handle on it. You're right though—she was on walkabout across the entire island.
This episode will be memorable to me mainly for reminding me to watch "Sorry" again (it's a damn masterpiece), and for signaling that Bruno Mars' transformation into this generation's James Brown is complete. I full-stop love that pint-sized charisma machine.
I just couldn't wait furlong.
