As a fan of these directors, I have to say the first trailer didn't blow me away. The thing is, it's often hard to capture the appeal of their films in a trailer.

I don't know about that… I think my script is still on the Brown List.

Play shooters online with strangers is my prescription. You'll care more. You don't have to talk to them or anything, I usually don't. Fuck that, they all sound terrible like me.

You can learn how to code if you can stay up all night to do one thing over and over. If you can't stay up all night, it's hard to learn coding. That's my only lesson worth teaching and it's kind of lame because there are a lot of good and sound reasons people can't do that in their lives. You have a thesis, for

If memory serves, that's a good one.

Play fewer video games?

The guy who's led their branch of the company to multiple TV adaptations and thus fulfilled their sad little dreams?

The New York Daily News has a big exclusive all about this,

And you're a child.

Your comment doesn't address anything in the story so I have to assume the game sucks. How is it "a blast"? How is it "hilarious" that the character smokes, drinks and fights, since video game characters often do all three? What does Call of Duty have to do with anything?

If they were going to put that little effort into it, they should have sold a game where huge tattooed crazies deal exclusively with chickens and daiquiris.

I dropped everything but the Illuminati book, then dropped that. It became this mess of goofy names for new, two-dimensional characters, then introduced Thanos' son, who was just some guy who had to, dig this, fight between the good and evil within himself! Wow! Like Starlin, only not interesting in any way!

What it is, is Marvel moving inexplicably away from an interesting and durable character idea and deeper and deeper into their own navel. It's like, "what if Superman had electricity powers?" except compared to Superman no one knows who Galactus is.

I agree, as a sometimes-fan of plainclothes in these books. Once you make that choice, you have to then pay attention to the clothes. It's not an easy out.

Those are … jokes.

She's a pretty good actress but I am not looking forward to this series.

That show's problem is more that it's gone gonzo in its lurid portrayal of it with no justification whatsoever. There's no commentary, it's a fantasy show about dragons, it's just absurd and gross. It's a bunch of execs figuring out that rape on TV gets them publicity.

I was skeptical but I got a slightly early listen to this and it's pretty good. I'm not even a Bowie fan, don't hate the guy but don't follow him, and I appreciated the authenticity of the moodiness of this album. In a world of sly winks this album does not even blink.

Which is one reason I didn't buy one, because for me it was pretty much, "buy a new system to keep playing the same game you've been playing online for years". I couldn't think of a better reason to drop Nintendo, or the series.

The way I play Fallout 4, I figure my character was just a psychopath who lived a repressed existence under the thumb of her husband. Now she's free to spread her wings and shoot people in the stomach for their future drugs.
