It's all good stuff. Its humor is one of the best things it has going for it. That might actually have been what was mostly missing from 9.

I'll admit to not being up to date on this drama, but I can't imagine thinking that. The Dissolve? All you have to know about it is its name. What is it, a drain cleaner? I mean, it's ugly!

That's great for Dowd, but A.V. Club doesn't need The Dissolve to legitimize it. You guys are awesome! He's A.V. CLUB APPROVED!

Just watched Sleepy Hollow episode 9: "Tree Monster in the Spookhouse." In a word: Twisty! In 23 words: Exciting, sometimes frightening, and with some real emotional poignancy, and yet it doesn't all add up to one of the series' better shows.
