That is a very funny episode with some of the show's most spot-on (if not exactly relevant) pop culture parody. And a breath of fresh air after the inscrutable (but good) VSA. He's alright by me!

I watched the pilot on some extralegal site over the weekend and I was like, "Eff it, I'm buying season one on DVD." It was only 12 bucks (down from 18 when I first put it in my online cart), compared to over 20 for the other seasons. Commentaries, here I come (once it gets here)!

Him falling into that drum set was the hardest I'd laughed at physical comedy in a long time.

I know Merritt Wever's guest run is over, but I really wanted him to leave a note on Elizabeth's doorstep, too. We'd have recognized her house. Doesn't he still care about her, too? They've known each other longer!

A-?!!?! Unless I really missed something big after the few minutes when I stepped out, this was the worst episode of the season, not the best. Besides being horribly sitcom tropey, Schmidt telling Jess about the Captain involved dumbing Jess way down for a minute. If someone I had reason not to trust started talking…
