Forgetting Sarah Connor

Never heard any of these songs before, except "Old Red Wine," "Here Today," and "Shine a Light" (and I guess I've heard "I'll Be Missing You"). Am I old?

I was more offended by the Jar Jar cover. He's reading a classic RS issue with the old Star Wars gang on the cover, with the implication that he fits into their world or is on the same quality level as them. Truly shameful.

lol their movie reviews don't even have grades wtf

A little thing called toys and cartoons from the 80s.

Someone explain to me what "The Dissolve" is and why Rabin's over there. And also what the thing is with whatever the new thing Disqus is doing? Start at the beginning. I'm confused and I want to know all of it, all of it. Thanks in advance!

"desperation beard"
"sadness flannel"
"And yet, Breaking Bad is multilayered."

Also, it should be "donned a sadness flannel," not "donned sadness flannel."

I didn't get Mean Streets. I didn't get Mean Streets!! It's just so many layers!
But really, apart from the performances and the direction and cinematography, I didn't get what makes it such an indelible classic. But I wanted to.

You guys want an unpopular opinion? I like Quantum of Solace. There. I said it. I'm a huge Bond fan—I own all 23 of the official Eon productions and I've seen the unofficial ones—and I don't think Quantum is great, but I think it's a lot of fun and a good movie. Skyfall's better but it's not the perfect Bond movie

They're good. I might buy this.

I can tell by that picture that they don't even have a peg for my name. And yet there's "Caleb" tags?

So Alison Brie shot all her scenes as normal Annie and then took a couple of days of extreme training to bulk up for Evil Annie? That's commitment.

So, this has probably been brought up here before, but how 'bout Annie/Alison Brie's muscular arms in that photo?! She almost looks like she could beat up Joel.

Whatwhatwhatwhatwhat? Why would Lamorne Morris have absolutely anything to fear from Wayans returning? I get the "only one black character" joke, but come on. Nothing's gonna happen to Winston just because Coach comes back. Right?

The "poorly compensated" line made me think the janitor should have at least filled a jar with the piss water and potentially made a fortune on eBay.

You've given me quite the earworm with that one, as George Takei always says, like the old person he is. Also, Alison Brie! *swoon* Be still my beating heart, etc.

As a Minnesotan who has swum in Lake Superior and been to a couple shipwreck exhibits, I second your fascination with the Edmund Fitzgerald and your awe of the greatest lake.

I think you'll find that Garth Brooks covered "Shameless." I like both versions of that a lot, too.

I didn't see your other post, but this is well-said about a great film! I want to watch it again even more now. "A Song of Two Humans," or a song of us all?

This isn't very AV Club of me, but here goes:
