Yeah I live in Chicagoland and there are plenty of good curds around - though I will say not a lot on fast food menus. But that’s ok.

Hot take: Culver’s cheese curds are Just Okay. They have a lot of breading on them that makes them less appealing to me. The best fried curds are lightly battered and just barely keeping it together.
Same and I literally remember eating half a hamburger by with cheese broiled on to, they called it cheese dreams. School lunches have sucked for a long time. Seem to recall the Reagan? USDA saying ketchup was a vegetable.
I’m aware. But I see a lot from Florida and I have a hard time imagining only juice trees are affected. It wasn’t a big whine so much as an observation - if I’m wrong, well, good.
We definitely get eating oranges from Florida around here too, but that said it’s hard to know from this article if those crops were affected.
I’m very skeptical of the Invisacook.
I’m guessing this means oranges for eating will also be scarcer and more expensive this winter? great. thanks, climate change.
ounce for ounce, the lemonade and their dark roast are about the same amount of caffeine - but it’s way easier to drink 20-30 ounces of lemonade than it is coffee, and your brain isn’t thinking about caffeine when you drink lemonade.
The signs on the lemonade dispensers are clear enough, but personally, I find the “as much caffeine as our dark roast” thing a bit sus - most people aren’t drinking 30 oz of coffee in one go, and if they are, they’re expecting the caffeine.
Agreed - though for the record Jacobs is allowed her critique and I respect it! I would never try to speak for a Native person.
I haven’t seen KOTFM but my understanding is that Scorsese did shift focus a lot more to Mollie and Ernest, initially it was focused on the FBI agent character. He did try to focus more on the Osage, and tell their story, but he is still a white guy, for better or worse. And unfortunately, you’re right that right now…
A few weeks ago I was in California for work and we ate at a restaurant one night that had tiny little water glasses - about 5 ounces if I had to guess. They put a large swing-top bottle of water on the table for refills, but a) the staff seemingly insisted on refilling everyone’s glasses themselves from the bottle…
I do not need to read on the toilet. I’m there to do one thing. It doesn’t usually take very long.
You are… it’s still a weekly broadcast show on a major network with breaks for sports, holidays, etc. That’s how most tv used to be.
My favorite BB song is Spirits of Christmas, but Electric Love is second, and we named my new EV Topsy.
Yours sounds good too :) honestly you probably can’t guess my seasonings because they’re a little different every time, but Sazon is always one of them.
I feel like technically Chex mix should have Chex in it, the rest is just semantics.
I make party mix/Chex mix every holiday season, and it’s always a big hit. My current mix is:
I used to be a very active Yelper (I was Elite for 1o years or so), and the funny thing is, there are plenty of businesses who claim that Yelp shakes them down for ad dollars in order to get better ratings. I don’t know if it’s true or not, and the best they could do is probably suppress negative reviews, not prevent…
