Do women in Texas get reliable access to abortion during the Purge, or are some crimes just *too* beyond the pale?

I would love to see Rawls and the "numbers bureaucrats" from the Wire try to manipulate all their inconvenient crimes to have actually been Purge-related.

Maybe, or it's pushback against this whole zeitgeist which says you must care about this very important cultural phenomenon that 90% of other people apparently care about. A little snark and assholery against that is okay in my book.

I don't actively dislike "sports", except when I am in a social situation with some dudes whom I don't know and some sports topic comes up.

what about those losers who waste their time with their friends and families? what a bunch of losers!

Casts Greater Protection From Cultural Apathy

By itself, it's okay, but the same type of people who take "civic pride" in sports and eagerly support subsidies to build new stadiusm tend to be the same people who violently oppose funding increases for things like education, infrastructure and the arts.

I'm disturbed by the mis-understanding of "pride". The idea that "we did it". Uhh, the only thing "you" did was mortgage your city's financial future by subsidizing the stadium for a billionaire owner.

If someone doesn't care about something and doesn't Tweet about it, does it make a sound?

I'm not into sports at any level beyond enjoying throwing around a basketball or something for a few minutes. Am I interesting in watching other people play? Not at all.

I haven't paid for cable TV in over 10 years, but does ESPN still have a stranglehold on each and every cable package? I remember hearing that ESPN itself added something like $15-20 in licensing fees to every person's monthly cable bill.

"It's lunch…. in a cup!"

I would love to watch Trump's face as he watched this movie. Probably a lot of sage nodding and the raised eyebrow indicating "hmm, that's a good idea"

This is the last Game of Thrones season in a nutshell.

The only thing more ridiculous than the idea of the Purge is the idea that there are thousands of rules and stipulations governing the Purge.

I love the idea of the "first Purge". People just gingerly stabbing each other and looking around to see if anyone protests.

I love each and every one of these questions

I would watch the shit out of this.

I too am more fascinated by the "day after the Purge" than the Purge itself. Is there just massive societal compartmentalization and cognitive dissonance about the intrinsic contradictions going on? I mean, more so.
