I thought this was by far the funniest episode of the season. If you like/love the show, it's worth watching just for Jimmy eating Sabrina's "Iron Chef" inspired squid ink pizza alone.

Exactly. Virginia used to be computer illiterate and now she can break into a corporation's files. And now she's the boss at work too! But as long as she still has time to play hide and go seek at 2:00 in the afternoon in her pj's, well then she'll always be the same woman we know and love. Boo ya!

Did the emotional scenes with Ariel Winter (Alex) seem a little close to "ripped from the headlines" for comfort, to anyone else?

I finally signed up for an Onion AV account.

Well, they have set a precedent for meddling. Remember when they broke Jimmy up with his girlfriend, because they were afraid that she'd break his heart in the future?
"Ain't no sunshine when she's goneā€¦"

It has amazing continuity. And I love how when they flash back to before Hope was born, they bring back the actor who played Jimmy's cousin. It's just that fun and meta.

That totally jumped out at me too. I almost thought that she'd lost some sort of inside joke/bet.
"Okay, but if I win you have to say Sabriner for the whole episode!"

Even when it's not perfect, Raising Hope is one of the best shows on television. And I thought that it was very cool that Garrett Dillahunt's wife Michelle Hurd was on. But one random thought I had, was that it must have been a little weird for Martha Plimpton, because dayum, they do have crazy good chemistry.
