That scene in Parenthood where Max sics a deadly lizard on Jordan's character really did not fit in that show.

Yeah, that's by far one of the worst movie reviews I've ever read this side of Armond White. It's one thing to make a mistake on a small detail, it's another to completely misinterpret the main plot. Would an actual reporter be able to keep their job after getting so many facts just plain wrong?
Or Hitler with a hat on.
We'll find out in episode 7.
I think Tom must have been joking about liking Twilight, but then that's because I can't imagine a man in his mid-30's having anything but contempt for it.
I haven't found all of it dull. The metric of success for this season will be if I can get through a single episode without blurting out "Boring."
You left out the loaded pause between very and hard.
CHICKEN LEGGGG!!!
In religious communities, it's based on the idea that circumcision is supposed to keep boys from masturbating. Then, after a certain point when that idea's recognized as absurd, parents get stuck thinking, "Well, everyone else must be circumcised, so my kid's getting it done, too."
Yup. In high school, we weren't forced to shower but it was strongly encouraged, and since I went to a school of 500-600 and most people played at least one sport, pretty much everyone showered. The poor bastards with weird dicks, i.e. crooked or uncircumcised (apparently, everyone's circumcised in southern Indiana)…
Shi-shaah!
Where ya been, Godot? The whole pop culture website industry been gay for years. And you know what else? Broadway.
FYI, since it aired on HBO, I wouldn't count on it coming to Netflix for a long time. Their 2011 documentary on tort lawyers, Hot Coffee, just showed up in streaming, and that's one of the few HBO docs on there.
Him?
Of the four big actors in Django, Waltz, while incredible, was outdone by Dicaprio and Sam Jackson. Waltz got Jackson's Oscar. The way he transitions into the master when it's just him and Dicaprio alone…holy shit. Best thing he's ever done.
You can't talk about the time travel or else you're just going to end up sitting at the table for hours with sketches on napkins.
The ending of The Long Goodbye is where it really got me. The cold way Marlowe does what he does followed by the skipping down the sidewalk was just a great, bittersweet finish.
I spent a pleasant, uplifting weekend in and watched the Pusher trilogy. While every character in all three is a varying shade of awful, the protagonist in the first film had zero redeeming qualities. It was just a tragedy of errors for an asshole drug dealer, and because I had such distaste for him, I didn't care…
In fairness to MacKenzie, she probably understands how e-mail works, she just can't effectively send one. It's economics she has zero understanding of.
@NerdInTheBasement:disqus We all know you secretly long for a Republican to cut taxes, brutalize criminals, and rule you like a king.
