They could have layered in Augustine's henchmen's growing displeasure with him over the course of the last few episodes. It just felt abrupt that they'd turn on him that quickly. Anyone know who covered "You Will Never Leave Harlan Alive" at the end? I wasn't a big fan of the cover, as the lyrics seemed mistimed to the melody, but that melody… Such a great theme song for this show.
The Boyd/Ava half worked for me, but yeah, the Raylan v. Augustine stuff seemed like it ended too easily. All they needed was a guy in an ill-fitting suit to come down and clean it up.
Mytly, GRRM has said that there will be no more new POV characters for the remaining books, as there's no something like 2 dozen of them. So while I'd much rather have some Tyrell insight than whatever Damphair's up to, it doesn't look like it's going to happen.
