I think I'm getting the black lung, pop.

They're break-dance fighting!

Les Winan should do more thinkin' and less whinin'!

"Judge seemed to have a real affection for Hank Hill in King Of The Hill. The same cannot be said of the über-liberal terrain spoofed here."
Probably because hippies are just the worst.  Merica, fuck yeah.

I'm pretty sure it's 30 documentaries for 30 years of ESPN.

For contemporary choices, I'd go James Marsh (Man on Wire, Project Nim) or Charles Ferguson (Inside Job, No End in Sight) over Gibney.  Marsh gets more emotion from his subjects while Ferguson is more comprehensive.

She's very good at portraying a despicable person.  Definitely the best at that of the 3 main actresses.

FYI, The Invisible War, How to Survive a Plague, and 5 Broken Cameras are all on Netflix Streaming.

vet323; Despite my intense dislike of AHS, it gets points for effort and trying something new with the anthology-ness of it.  It also fits with FX's brand, whereas the Newsroom is an anti-HBO show.  It's the only show HBO has ever run that could comfortably fit on a broadcast network, and because they've so betrayed

@avclub-b56f50f2a14c30dc6e9370f496dfb278:disqus Have you ever read a Ryan Murphy EW interview after an episode of AHS?  I could be misreading his tone, but he thinks he's making his masterpiece.

I think it depends where you fall on American Horror Story.  It and Anger Management keep FX mired in second place behind HBO for me, which deserves to be supplanted because of its Newsroom support.

Ha, Busty Owen.
