It was an emotional rollercoaster with Gillian for me.  I was sure Richard was gonna bust in shooting right before Gyp injected her, then I cheered when he did because it's time for her to go, then I was pissed to see her alive, then I pitied her for reliving her early 'career.'

As awesome as Mae Whitman is, they're going to the "Amber breaks down crying" well a bit too much.  Don't want to water down one of the strongest cards in the Parenthood deck, right next to the 'Drew mixed darkness and sarcasm' card and the 'Joel lays down the law to a Braverman' card, which was played very nicely…
