Put that in my Netflix queue recently but didn't realize it was Russian-made.  Since it was released in 1985, is there any noticeable Soviet propaganda in it?  I mean, even if Flowers of War got great reviews, I probably still wasn't going to see a movie officially backed by the Chinese.

I tried baked sweet potato wedges last week.  Very simple.  I tossed them with olive oil, crushed red, salt, pepper, and sugar.  Bake at 500 for twenty minutes, turning after ten.  They came out really well.  The sugar carmelized the outsides very nicely, and they were plenty crispy.
