How is Mirage's opinion any less "fantasy" than yours?

I like the concept of the arc, but to say it's been handled deftly makes me guffaw. It's a hard sharp right turn out of nowhere from the Carol we've been presented with for the last 2 seasons, without any subtle clues or inciting events.
Agreed. The direction isn't a bad one, but it's pretty forced. We had no lead-up to it, it just happened, and seems out of character.
This episode felt like a lot of moving pieces around the board, without anything to keep it all interesting.
God, Age of Ultron was a piece of crap. It deserved the reviews BvS is getting.
Bah. It was fun, exciting, the action sequences were great, and had a lot going on.
Marvel makes movies for kids, and TV for adults. DC makes movies for adults, and TV for kids.
Dowd was never going to like this movie in a thousand years. It's great, certainly not a fucking C-.
The lyrics are clean, simple, and to the point. It's nowhere near one of the worst. Syrupy? Yes. Dated? Yes. But never one of the worst.
And neither of those hold a candle to Elvis Costello's "Tramp the Dirt Down".
"I Just Called To Say I Love You" is about as sincere and honest as a song gets. It's not an amazing rock song, but it's solid writing.
Did you watch the documentary? Jodorowsky was batshit crazy.
The novels pretty much get worse as they go on. Hell, even the second book is pretty terrible comparatively, and by the time we get to clones and giant worm emperors, it's pretty evident we should have walked away much sooner.
Jodorowsky's enthusiasm gets an A, his vision for the film is a big fat turd.
You had me until you said Jodorowsky could/would be that guy. Passion he has, but his version looked friggin terrible.
I'm of the opinion that "Running as a couple" will be House of Cards' "Jump The Shark". It's just not in any way believable.
In the comics, there are very few vehicles anymore, they tend to use horses , wagons, etc.
I think the point of the "Saviors doing nothing to us" line was more to indicate that while Daryl's concern was that they might have done something untoward to Carol and Maggie, she was saying that she's more concerned by what's she's become, to the point where THEY were ones in danger.
I still say the show wouldn't dare have a woman (especially a strong woman) get beaten to death by a man with a bat. The social outrage would be immense.
One of the writers' goals for this season seems to be to top one another in a game of "How outrageously corny can we make Abraham sound".
