And yet, Serkis was arguably bested by Toby Kebbell's Koba in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.

It certainly speaks volumes about your friends.

I noticed in that sequence the long shot had tons of clouds and inclement weather, but the close ups were clear skies and sunny.

I'd love to see him get back to the kind of films that made him a star: Less gritty tough guy, more everyman caught up in a problem. Smile a bit, it won't kill you!

Relish the moments in the book before Oswald and his family are introduced. The irony of the book as that the "A" plot is snooze inducing, and everything around it is a pleasure to read.

As dull as that became, nothing was less interesting than any time the plot veered to anything to do with Oswald.

One of the Red Dwarf creators wrote a book about a multi-generational spaceship, which had a fun concept, and poor execution. This show would work in that setting.

I was thinking this morning that we haven't seen an Austin Powers based on the Craig Bond, something spoofing the grittier, flashier films.

It's kind of one of Walking Dead's strengths, they don't over-explain a lot of this stuff. We see it, we make up the story in our heads, they don't dwell on it. Kinda cool, really. I remember thinking the same thing with the Govenor's "rehab" days, with the small camps of people.

The people in that town were SUPER in to hacking up body parts.

Hey NETFLIX, here ya go.

Lots of very intelligent people are lacking "smarts". You can be a genius engineer who is lousy at reading people, or lousy at situational analysis.
