Novel is a strong word. Super short story would be closer. And there's 2 sequels, and not much new is added or interesting in them.

Wayward Pines is based on the books, so I'm not sure there's much to fear in the way of M. Night screwing up the ending. It will make the show a little dull for those of us who know the truth.

Will Forte is seemingly the last surviving human, struggling to hold
onto his sanity as he travels the deserted U.S. in search of anyone to
talk to. The fact that the likes of January Jones, Kristen Schaal, and
Mel Rodriguez are listed on the show’s IMDB page suggests the title may
turn out to be a big, fat lie.

Can't stay long, the fanboys are hunting me, but … Guardians of the Galaxy was highly overrated, featured some of the WORST acting I've seen on screen in a long time, and the story itself was pretty blah.

Makes sense if he's bucking for a better contract?

Makes sense, lose the expensive contracts, and bring the second string, because people will show up regardless now.

Next up: King Julien explains those funny new urges, and why your wiener gets like that.

What I learned from Serial is that you can make that case fascinating for an hour, and then much, much less fascinating for subsequent hours.

Pretty soon, my man, pretty soon.

Interested to hear your opinion after you've finished, I suspect "just as hard" will become "beats the ever-loving shit out of".

Jason Mantzoukas still votes for "Misty Slit".

Disagree about the Hobbit films, all of them were wonderful, glad to have them. But agree about Two Towers, the low point of the Tolkien films for sure.

Ha! The Hobbit films are now Terrible, are they? I'd take any one of them over the poorly acted slog that was GotG.

They should be forced to differentiate like the rest of us: "Anonymus55@aol.com","ThaRealzAnonymus", etc.

How charming, you must be a hit a dinner parties.

Jamie Hyneman "I don't watch or listen to stuff, or give enough of a fuck to answer your question really."

The role required comptent acting. He was garbage.

He might have been having fun, but his acting was utter shit.

Agreed. I saw it recently, and was amazed how much love it got at release. It was….okay at best. The acting was shoddy, the jokes fell flat, and it seemed like I was simply told I should like these people, rather than being given reasons to in the film.

The villains were the worst part of GotG by far, or rather, their cringe-inducing acting. Michael Rooker was laughably bad, and the chick from Doctor Who should NOT be allowed to be in another film.
