Man… I took about as much as I could of the awful plotting of S8-10. I didn't actually watch the finale because, well, I saw a preview where Lois became possessed by the goddess Isis. At that point I just flipped a table over and said good-bye to the show. Based on the ratings that it's receiving, I think I made the

I think this is a reference, but I don't remember to what.

I really, REALLY hope that Barney and Robin both realize that their getting married would be terrible for both of them. The relationship is just way too unhealthy, I think they'll make a mutual decision to not get married, but still have a reception. Which is obviously the point where this once-great show will be

They probably should have ended the show before the eighth season, but at least they're willing to euthanize it now that everything about it has become too played out.

Looking on the bright side, though, the change to New Coke led to people becoming a lot more passionate about the old coke. Hopefully

Agreed. Angel rocked, plus the fact is that Angel seasons 1.5-5 is much, much better than Buffy seasons 4.5-7. All of Angel > All of Buffy is what I think personally, but that is far more debatable.

@avclub-d019eb089e65903455cc52308f00b997:disqus Kaylee is a lot like (early series) Willow. She's absolutely adorable, kind to a fault and her vulnerability in dangerous situations will get us emotionally invested in the blink of an eye.

His Audi Aztek? No doubt.

And by very likely, I mean far-fetched yet plausible.

If this script goes public, McAfee's gonna get got. Not by me, obviously, but there are enough die-hards out there that this is very likely.

It's not better. I like season 4, but it's definitely not as insanely brilliant as any of the 3 seasons that preceded it. It's an enjoyable and acceptable final season that would qualify as very good for your average sitcom, let's leave it at that.

I'm pretty sure it's all BS. The "real" St. Valentine lived before the fall of the Western Roman Empire, not the ninth century. Besides, the Prussians of the ninth century were pagans.

I actually liked the "Deconstruct the shit out of everything we've done for the past eight years" vibe that started over the past couple of episodes, so I was a bit disappointed that this one only slightly hinted at it with the repeated failures of Barney's plays, with no hints as to why he continues to be like he is.

Wait, what? This is exactly why they're doing two seasons for book three. It's not a 10-ep season, it's a 20-ep season. IMO perfect for the longest book in the series (though I might be wrong about that distinction belonging to Swords).

The fuck did he do?

On the other hand, revealing his true identity late was enjoyable to a reader only because we didn't know (at least not for sure) that he was Barristan the Bold. Most fans of the show probably would have recognized him right off the bat, and if not, it's all but a certainty that their friends would have told them.

Oh, come on. Even the old Community had the occasional continuity error.

So what, laughing at "low" comedy is wrong? Excuse me, Mr. Snob.

Private?!
Well, fuck you too.
