Yes. Both the film and soundtrack are fantastic.

I loved it too. It's a bit of a headfuck, but truly awesome. Also, the late Trish Keenan and her band Broadcast created a fucking amazing soundtrack for the film as well.

I wouldn't say its a failure per se, but it is definitely a lot less immediately grabbing than Stainless Style. And as a fellow Gruff appreciator (seriously, SFA are so grievously under-listened to), I hope you have listened to Ffa Coffi Pawb. Stainless Style has three or four legitimately great songs on it, and Raquel is the greatest. I've never been a big fan of the rap songs, but it is a fantastic album. I just hope Gruff finds some time for another Super Furry Animals album.
