He absolutely is. But I still think the whole Crone arc get's a short-shrift in the whole Carnivàle horror department. A crazy woman who blinded herself (and sewed her eyes shut!) who nearly eviscerates poor Ben Hawkins terrified me for days. All that after Ben being buried alive as well! By a McPoyle, no less!
