Seriously. I just watched this a couple of months ago and it needs the Criterion Collection treatment so bad. Like pretty much all of Malick's movies it's such a gorgeous looking film.

Listen to how hard The Rat hits, along with some other cuts from Bows + Arrows and Everyone Who Pretended… and tell me they haven't mellowed. I don't think it's a bad thing, I adore this band but someone calling them dad-rock is at least faintly in the ballpark.
