The one tail the nameless man stepped over reminded me of that one creature that Walter shot in the sewer.

I wasn't a big fan of the episode either, I'm just more disappointed that we still have yet no inkling as to DRJ's true intentions. There's only six-seven more episodes left in the season (and maybe series; *pouts*) and this episode came off as a lackadaisical entry that hearkened to an earlier idea done better but…
I agree. The music never gets as much attention as it should but it has consistently been one of the best parts of the show.
I loved that Jon is so self-involved he didn't even know Bin Laden had been killed.
Cool story, mate!
Everyone Who Pretended to Like Me is Gone is a magnificent album.
I wholeheartedly agree.
Or Kilgore Trout.
A O RIVER!
I think you're pretty much dead-on about this episode Todd. The first season was very oddly paced, especially in comparison to season two where there was a steady buildup throughout every episode.
Sometimes I have my breakfast right off of a mirror, and sometimes I'll have it right out of a bottle.
It was made of mithriel and adamantium.
No mention of "What's up my Knitta!"? I thought it was an odd joke for BB to go for, but frankly I found it hilarious.
You sir made my day.
A nice bit of foreshadowing in the (September's?) Observer's apartment: the porcupine picture above the calendar. Maybe I only caught it because I noticed Mr. Porcupine in the trailer that Fox released. Either way, a nice little nod in the direction of next week's episode.
Didn't he say something when the Hurt Locker won Best Picture? He was on the stage at least.
As to your second question: no comment.
I'm in the same boat. Oftentimes I don't really see much to discuss. It's harder to passionately sift through events and characters that you know will never be fully answered/realized. That being said, I really hope you don't pull the plug Todd.
I was on the fence about the season as a whole but this episode convinced me to come back in the fall.
But they all fuck her. I doubt all those rappers are fucking Aziz.
