They have a lot of the same comic DNA and it doesn't always work, but when it does, it's damn good TV.

Those 70s movies had a lot of filler in them. This one where he goes to Arizona could have been trimmed or excised completely. The other example that I always use is Play Misty For Me, which for some reason near the end has a super long segment where they go to a music festival.
