Ugh- my Faux Pas- I was thinking of "He Who Gets Slapped"- I sort of consolidated titles there!

The Lon Chaney movie is called "He Who Laughs", not "The Man Who Laughs". It is a bizarre and somewhat sad movie, also starring Norma Shearer and John Gilbert. But it's right up Rob Zombie's alley.
