Elementary school me was so disappointed when I read Little Women and that was not actually the final line.

Anyway, I enjoyed this review—I never even noticed how "Two Tickets to Paradise" should've poured salt in Homer's wound. And good point about the What About Bob parallels. Now there's a movie, unlike Ernest Goes to Jail, that I'm NOT ashamed for having loved as a child.

Marge… I think I hate Ted Koppel. No, wait, I find him informative and witty. 'Night.

Ay caramba!

"I love you, Homey. Mmmm."

Oh, Andy. He's fine, but he's simple.

Damn. Glad we got two seasons of this lovely show, but. Damn.

I love his writing, both on early The Office as well as on King of the Hill, where he wrote more than a handful of my favorite episodes. It's disappointing (although not necessarily surprising?) to see that his showrunning skills just don't rise to the same level.

"Then I noticed she was sitting on—her—sweet can—-, so I grabbed—her—sweet can—."

Despicable Me wasn't bad.

I'm another one who just watched seasons one and two in quick succession.

Liked for leaving "the" off of "hoi polloi."

@eric827:disqus Thankfully my only Sorkin-induced Gilbert and Sullivan encounters have to do with John Larroquette wielding a cricket bat rather than what Sorkin imagines edgy late-night sketch comedy to be.

"I'm ecumenical; I embrace men of all faiths!"

And thematic depth aside, "Death and the Dog" also gives you Zeljko Ivanek as a dog psychiatrist.

One of the joys of finally doing a thorough rewatch of Frasier's first five or six seasons was realizing how fantastic Mahoney is as Martin. I loved Frasier as a kid and have caught a lot of syndicated reruns over the years, but I'd never fully appreciated what a solid performer he is. I was happy to see him back in a

That smug look by Mahoney will be forever imprinted on my brain, it's so wonderful.

I only remember the Gilbert and Sullivan "Modern Major General" parody opening, but what a fine opening song it was: http://snltranscripts.jt.or…
