I laughed out loud many times during this movie, but as it dragged on (and drag it did — it's a good half hour longer than it needs to be), I realized all I was doing was laughing at McCarthy's one-liners.  Granted, she's hilarious, but it became a little weary.  Bullock did have some funny moments, but it was a

"Yale" should be spelled with a "6."

Seven years later and I'm still pissed that Keri Russell wasn't chosen to play Lois Lane.

That's kind of a shame.  The girl who played Veruca (Paige Moss, apparently) had one of the worst, most annoying singing voices I've ever heard in my life.  Decent actress, though.

My favorite 90210 character was Dr. Pepper.

Qualify be damned — I know it's probably because this episode/film was easier to find in DVD non-you-tubed form, but I definitely think the better example of MST3K interloping was when Pearl sits in for Mike during Quest of the Delta Knights.  "From the land comes life."  "And fat-free goodness!"

I'm just gonna come out and say it:  Prefer Sci-Fi era over Comedy Central era, Prefer Mike over Joel, prefer Bill Corbett Crow over Trace Beaulieu Crow, prefer Pearl & Co. over Dr. Forrester & Co.  Can open!  Worms everywhere!

treatment_bound - Yeah, I think the bastards at Glee deserve some of that hate as well.  Also, ALL OF IT.

When does Ross get a monkey?  Because, man, that was a crappy plot. I don't really start to enjoy Friends until around season 3. The early seasons were so gimmicky — Ugly Naked Guy, Marcel . . . No thanks.

I have a hard time liking Dave Franco.  He appears to have male bitchy resting face.

Holy crap, I just read their wikipedia bio and man — that'd make an excellent movie.  Especially what happened after their last public appearance in Charlotte.  That's some damn sad stuff.

But I'm not a city boy.  And I was not born and raised in south Detroit.  However, if there's a midnight train goin' anywhere, feel free to let me know.

She had a small but hilarious part in Whit Stillman's (mostly) excellent "Damsels in Distress."

Does anyone know what the background music is?  Is it an original creation just for the trailer or is it from another soundtrack?  I just want to own it, is all . . .

Well, if you consider that one of them hasn't done much except for a CW show that was quickly canceled and that the other is now producing WWE, then sure.  Yes.  Power couple.

"The Mystery of Chimney Rock" was the best effing Choose Your Own Adventure book ever.  Ever, I say!

"Round the Bend" is the best Nick Drake song not written or performed by Nick Drake.

Wow, I feel the exact opposite.  I loved the rape storyline, but after the other "main" season 3 mystery concluded (which I liked less than the rape storyline), I thought the show, while still great, had some of the weakest "mysteries" that it has ever had.

The show has always treated lesbian-ism as something "hot," such as when Joey/Chandler/Ross want Monica/Rachel/Phoebe to kiss or hook up, but the whole group freaked out when Ross and Joey were napping together.  If that had been Monica and Rachel (or Phobe and Rachel, in Ross's case), there would have been a

I'm not a Friends fanatic, but I do own all the seasons (except the incredibly gimmicky first season), and I'm going to admit that the "gay-panic" jokes are plentiful and excruciating.  I suppose I wouldn't go so far to call Friends "homophobic," but there are definite times when the show straddles that fine line,
