Like in the first episode of the Ward cartoon (where Peabody calls on his “friends” like the President to vouch for him to legally adopt Sherman) he goes through the courts and does indeed fully adopt Sherman. A judge slams a gavel and gives him legal standing as a guardian and everything.

He only spoke two lines with it, and I re-watched Two Towers a few months back, and for some reason thought it was his actual voice. Either way, I laughed at the switch.

Thanks for the correction, I was so sure it was Ley—Vasgersian has a very similar voice.

With every passing episode I am more convinced that HIMYM is a show that was specifically designed by scientists in the future and then beamed back in order to get me on its hook and emotionally damage me beyond repair. I am pot-committed to finishing this series, but I look forward to the future when I no longer

A DeLorean is in the video for “Thrift Shop,” so he’s already halfway there…THE PLOT THICKENS!

She definitely grew up to be her character in High Fidelity.

Hey my brother, can I borrow your copy of Hey Soul Classics?
No my brother, you have to go buy your own.

Count yourselves lucky. Thanks to some crossed wires y'all got a brief glimpse at a Christmas gift I made for my mother, compiling my final season of Breaking Bad reviews into a little booklet. And that's why…you always check you links!

For what it's worth, I used "apparent" because the LA Times report didn't contain any information beyond saying it was a suicide. When Lee Thompson Young killed himself earlier this year, there was confirmation of what happened. On the off chance that it was an accident, I wanted the wiggle room. Just wanted to

When NBC is providing online rough-cut screeners (as they did for these two episodes), it is impossible to get closed captions. So there's that. But I'm happy for the etymology of the words, as I'm always very interested in that. Having to guess is a pain, but a necessary one.

Kings was such an underrated show, and I was so sad when it bombed. As with everything, I blame NBC.

"I see enough robot dong in my daily life."

There are, like, no dicks in there. Uh! it's so annoying!

I agree 100% with that last graf. AD has definitely built up enough goodwill over the course of a long improvement that took multiple seasons to take big risks like this. And it definitely delivers on them. I can't remember the last time it took a swing like this and totally whiffed. Maybe the second Bond parody? Not

I did go back to "Lost In Space" and like it better on second viewing, that animation is kind of incredible for the typical static setups in a garden variety episode of AD. I've never really been one to re-watch so soon and reconsider a grade though, so right now it's slightly below how much I laughed during "Buck,

For my tastes, the August: Osage County send-up was stylistically more fun (the lighting changes in particular) with funnier material.

I think the letter grades are mostly just personal. I tend to go by how much I felt I laughed (Adventures In Hayleysitting) or was impressed by an episode (Blood Crieth Unto Heaven) for those A's. B+ to me is a really solid episode, and that's what this was.

I wasn't all that impressed with the new one (mostly just glad the franchise is back), but it's been a while since I watched Manhattan and that could totally be childhood nostalgia bias boosting the ranking.
