MUPPET FILM RANKINGS
As a fellow Scrubs fan/apologist, that John/Dorian thing really threw me when I first heard it.
Options are kind of slim for the size they need, since the SAP Center wouldn't really work, nor Oracle Arena. Didn't they play Bridge this year as well? Honestly I think the coolest venue would've been AT&T, but it's the summer and that's hard to schedule with the baseball season going on.
This is exactly what I realized while only listening to SY for a while to write this. They pass with the five-album test with ease, and you could add Washing Machine to the end of that, as it's probably the most underrated great record they made.
Yeah, that's definitely what I'm going for. Daydream is SY's best record, but I think Goo is the most representative of the band's entire career in one album and thus a good introduction to sounds that are more prevalent on "next step" records.

Now that Disney owns the franchise it'll probably show up online, disappear quickly, and then end up as an extra on a blu-ray re-release or something.
I recently re-watched Playmakers for a good reason. I was very glad I went back, it's a terrible and prescient show in many ways.
There are certain episodes of Doug that have aged nicely, and here I'm thinking mostly of the episodes where Doug and Roger are actually more like friends. But yeah, for the most part, it's a lot simpler now that I'm looking back on it from a mature perspective. But Hey Arnold has continued to reward multiple…
I'll just say that Caroline's column remains one of my favorite things about television to ever appear on this site. Hey Arnold is one of the foundational shows from my childhood, and I'm glad it's getting a little bump with this discussion of a lovely Thanksgiving episode.
I started watching the show a few years late, after I had already seen the pilot for Nurse Jackie. I was legitimately disappointed that the two shows essentially contained the same twist to underscore how morally complex the protagonist was going to be.
I'd rank it Mystery Team, Hot Rod, Miss March. But I don't really care for HR, I'm a sucker for Derrick Comedy, and MM is indeed abysmal.
It's the acoustic demo: http://www.youtube.com/watc…
Okay, so I had this thought too. I wanted that or for McKellen to be the chef. But it's a lobster costume and not a hermit crab, so I didn't mention it.
They're almost exclusively referred to as "formics" throughout the film. I honestly can't remember hearing "bugger" once.
Nope, but Social Distortion does cover CCR's "Up Around The Bend" for absolutely no reason.
Okay, so the shower scene. SPOILERS AHEAD (thanks OSC, for making this discussion of book-to-film accuracy feel inappropriate already).
He was indeed great at co-opting a lot of what made John Larroquette the perennial Emmy favorite two decades before that show.
I am amused by the suggestion of Shatner when the title has the words "OSCAR NOMINATED" in it.
It is a delightful bit of history from that era of pop culture. I'm still astounded there wasn't a DVD of the tour or a video in some longer form. The only clips online are not helpful. I am fully aware I have spent way too much time tracking down bits and pieces of the show.
